Artana 2022

Artana comes from Muscat of Kefalonia, a variety with small berries. In local dialect, Artana means flower-bed. Muscat is grown in an excellent semi-mountainous vineyard in the area of Agona, with clay-sandy soils and it is cultivated on terraces, due to its steep slopes of the area. The vineyard benefits from the sea breeze due to its orientation and location that contributes to the better expression of the variety.

The vineyard is being treated with strict pruning, late harvest and selective sorting. For Muscat we only use top quality grapes. The process of fermentation takes place as naturally as possible, allowing the terroir and the variety to express their personality. We have chosen not to use clarifiers and filters, in order to preserve the authentic character of the wine.

Artana stands out with its rich taste and high natural acidity, comprising a wine with an extremely intense character. A gastronomic wine.
