Roz 2021

Roz is the most modern expression of dry Mavrodaphne. It is produced from two semi-plain, neighboring vineyards of Southern Kefalonia. Their cultivation is carried out with great care with and mild means. Diligent pruning and non-irrigated cultivation balance well with the fertile soil, resulting in a very good concentration of ingredients in the grapes.

Grape selection starts with careful sorting firstly in the vineyard and then in the winery, resulting in top quality grapes used. The variety has strong pigments, so we vinify only the natural flow must with white vinification practices.  No extraction of ingredients and gentle natural methods are employed as possible allowing the terroir and the variety to express its own personality. We have chosen not to use clarifiers and filters, in order to better preserve the authentic character of our wine.

Roz represents the best proof of a harmonious combination of tradition with the new and modern. Fruity and refreshing, it is the most delicious choice for starting, accompanying or finishing a good meal.
